Returns & Exchanges
At Surface Studio, we want you to love your wallpaper. If something isn’t right, we’re happy to help within the guidelines below.
Return Window
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Returns requested after 30 days are not eligible for refund or exchange.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:
• Unused, uninstalled, and uncut
• Returned in original packaging
• In resalable condition
• Accompanied by proof of purchase
Wallpaper that has been installed, trimmed, altered, or damaged after delivery is not eligible for return.
Custom Wallpaper Orders
All custom, made-to-order, and personalized wallpaper purchases are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless the product arrives damaged or defective.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective product or an error on our part.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Surface Studio is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
How to Initiate a Return
To begin a return, please contact our customer support team within the 30-day return period with your order number and reason for return.
If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions.
Inspection & Refunds
All returns are inspected upon arrival before a refund is issued.
Once your return has been received and approved, your refund will be processed to the original form of payment. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Please allow additional processing time for your financial institution to post the refund to your account.
Damaged or Defective Orders
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your wallpaper arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 72 hours of delivery and include photographs of the issue. We will work quickly to provide a replacement or appropriate resolution.
Do not install damaged or defective wallpaper. Installed products are considered accepted and cannot be refunded or replaced.
Color Variation & Dye Lots
Due to differences in monitor settings and the printing process, slight color variations may occur.
To ensure consistency, we recommend ordering all wallpaper needed for your project at the same time, as print runs and dye lots can vary slightly between orders.
Installer Responsibility
Surface Studio is not responsible for installation costs, labor charges, or installer errors. We strongly recommend reviewing all wallpaper prior to installation.
